Timeless Toys: A Personal journey back to childhood
In this modern age of plastic toys with integrated iPod and Wi-Fi connectivity, there is a part of us all that cries out for a simpler time. Toys didn't used to need a user manual to set them up, or regular updates from the manufacturer to work properly. Toys were just fun; good, old-fashioned fun.
I remember spending long train rides as a child being mystified by the small spinning top that my mother kept in her handbag for such occasions. I still even carry a Yo Yo in my work bag as I find the simple act of playing with one therapeutic.
