Hot cutting mimics the hairs natural, uncut tip, as when it emerged from the

scalp. Once hair has been cut, the open ends are vulnerable to environmental

Hot cutting stimulates the hairs natural rejuvenation, resulting in healthy, deeply

Just how hot is hot cutting? Shears are typically heated to temperatures ranging

from 230 to 340, though the temperature is custom set to each customers hair

thickness. There is no need to worry about burns as the handles and all but the

blade teeth are well insulated.

Hot cutting can be done on all types of hair, including permed and dyed hair.

The temperature, however, is set lower to hair that may be more sensitive (such

as dyed hair) to heat.
