The Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 is a fantastic entry level MP3 controller. It's very easy to mix two tracks together with the simple controls and produce high quality music. This mixer comes with Virtual DJ 3 DJC Edition software which is a great way for beginners and casual DJ's to advance their skills.

There is NO power supply needed for this controller and is powered through USB, only needing to be plugged into your PC or laptop to work.

A great feature of the Hercules DJ Control MP3 e2 is that it is relatively small and light and includes a cover for protection which makes this mixer very safe and easy to transport.

I've dallied with many combinations of DJ software for the past 13 years all of which have been good, but always show their short comings relatively quickly as to why they would not be reliable or suitable to use as a replacement to a bulky CD/Mixer Case or Rack for mobile gigs.

Well forget all that, you can use this little unit for ALL DJ gigs. Arguably it is marketed as being designed for entry level/enthusiast use while other models like the MKII or RMX are touted as being more suited for professional use.
