10. Finally, are their fees reasonable? Even if you have dental insurance, your insurer will only reimburse you for charges up to the applicable dental fee guide. If your dentist bills above that level, it will come out of your pocket. You'll then need to consider if any extra expense is worth it for the services provided.
While you can make a first cut to find dentists on the internet, most of the answers to the above questions will only result from an initial consultation with the dentist. Set up an appointment to meet with the dentist to get a sense of who they and their staff are, how professionally they operate their practice and how comfortable you feel there. Armed with this information, you'll be well-positioned to find dentists who meet your needs.
