A soft material is inserted in the trays which are then fitted over the teeth and left to set.
Then the trays are sent to a dental laboratory where a technician prepares a cast replica of your teeth. Trays for the whitening agent will be made from these replicas. Both the whitening trays and the molds of your teeth will be returned to your dentist.
When you return, you will receive instructions for putting the trays into your mouth and using the gel. Simply squirt the whitening gel from the pre-filled syringes as the dentist recommends onto the trays and press them onto your teeth before sleeping. The trays are extracted when you wake up, and this procedure is repeated until you're happy with how white your teeth have become.
