When you're finding a place to deliver a Bible lesson or presentation to your youth ministry you must have a comfortable setting that is also realistically a good learning environment. Ideally if your youth ministry is part of your local church will be able to use a room at the church to do your presentations and your Bible lessons. But if you youth ministry is small or it is just a Bible group here are a few things to keep in mind when thinking about a place to deliver a presentation or Bible lesson to your youth ministry.
The first thing to keep in mind when you are looking for a place for your youth ministry teaching is to make sure that it is comfortable for everybody and that it is a safe environment. You don't necessarily need desks and chairs like a classroom usually has but you should have ample space for everybody to sit and also get up and move around if your Bible lesson calls for an activity with your youth ministry students. If you have a small youth ministry a kitchen table may be adequate enough for you to teach at and it is suitable to use your back yard for activities or games.
When you're delivering your Bible lessons you should also have an environment which is conducive to group discussions and debates. The student should be able to see each other so that they can engage in conversations and ask each other questions about the topics that you are teaching to them. When the students can see each other at all times discussion is more likely to flow and be very natural as opposed to if there were obstacles in the way of each other. Your youth ministry should encourage questions and conversations one you deem it fit. When your students are asking questions about the topics that you are teaching you know that you have their attention and that they are interested in the materials that you are teaching them.
The place where you deliver your Bible lesson should also be a place that can grow as your youth ministry expands with more and more members over the course of your time as a youth leader. Some youth ministries will see growth very rapidly and will gain new members extremely quick. When growth explodes like this you have to be prepared with an environment for your Bible lessons and youth ministry meetings that can hold a large number of students and is adequate space for teaching. With that in mind whenever you are looking for a place for your youth ministry to meet always be asking yourself the question of, when the youth ministry doubles in size will this space still be usable.
