You don't even have to be out of diapers in order to have a career in the movies or television these days it seems like
. So where are all these child stars coming from? It seems they are growing out of the walls. But they have to come from somewhere. And even with their own talent, they may be suffering.It seems like a lot of these kids just have a hard time getting to where they need to be to succeed. They instead fall prey to all the the things that wreck stars' lives such as pressures and stress and other things that make life difficult for the very top of the heap of us.
Child stars may be super talented but it seems like they can't get beyond the fact they are just children and often just children stuck in a grownup's world view. They just don't get the time to act like kids in an important way.
Being a kid is so important. At first sight the life of a child star seems to be enviable. But to become such a state you need a lot of luck, and you give up a lot of other things in order to reach that state.
Due to the inability to learn normal social skills, they are often stunted in this regard. Development is the result of transactions between the child and their environment. Each transaction results in new learning which results in the development of skills and traits.
These child stars don't have the normal opportunities to develop their own views of the world and so they turn to other things to experience their outlet of ability. They need to succeed, but they can't.
This is where the child stars seem to enter into realms of conflict with their lives. The media survives on sensation.
They can't get beyond what their own limitations are and often this leads to imminent destruction. It's not that you have such different problems than anyone else your age, they're just blown up beyond recognition.
