From Bangalore take Mangalore Highway (16.1 km) and Nelamangala Expressway (3.4 km) to be on NH 4 (229.6 km), drive along SH 65 / SH 76 (23 km), back on NH 4 (531 km), take Pune bypasses (18.2 km), be back on NH 4 (9.5 km), use NH 50 (131 km), SH 44 (40 km) and SH10 (7.4 km) to reach Shirdi.
Private taxis are available from Bangalore to Shirdi with fares varying from Rs 16100- for Tata Indica to Rs 20639/- for Mahindra Logan for a round trip. Private bus services are also there from Bangalore to Shirdi. Per head fare will be Rs 850/- for non-a/c and Rs 1200/- for a Multi-Axle Volvo a/c bus.
Bangalore City junction and Krishnarajapuram are the two stations in Bangalore and Sainagar is the station at Shirdi 1 km away from Sai Mandir. Direct train from Bangalore city junction to Sainagar, 16217 weekly Mysore-Sainagar express takes around 27 hours and one from Krishnarajapuram namely 12627 weekly Sainagar Express takes 19 hour 48 minutes for the journey. Kopargaon station which is 15 km away from Shirdi has two direct trains from Bangalore City junction.
Nearest airport to Shirdi is Aurangabad airport, 98 km away. There are no direct flights from Bangalore to Aurangabad. Spice jet, Jetlite and Jet airlines have flights with one stopover at Mumbai, the fare being Rs 5000/- approximately. Private luxury buses ply between Aurangabad and Shirdi taking 4 hours 15 minutes, fares varying from Rs 500/- to Rs 760/-.
