While Duronto Express takes 12 hours to travel the distance, others take 14 hours to 17 hours to reach the destination from Mumbai.
Travelling by road is also popular. Travel agencies operate regular bus services from Mumbai to Hyderabad. The fare for by the journey by bus is above Rs.750. The journey by bus takes about 13 hours to reach the destination from Mumbai. On the other hand taxis charge a rate ranging from Rs.12 to Rs.30 per kilometre depending on the type of car.
