Nagpur lies in the Geographical Centre of India. Nagpur is the headquarters of Indian Army Force. It is a fastest growing crorepati city and an emerging metropolis in India. Nagpur boasts of forest reserves and Tiger sanctuaries, tadoba, Nagzira, pench are famous among them. It is forward in education wise too, Nagpur University is one among oldest universities. Nagpur owns many famous colleges for medical, engineering, business and IT.
In order to reach from Mumbai to Nagpur on road, one has to travel a distance of 838 km, through NH 3 and NH 6. The total time taken to reach from Mumbai to Nagpur is around 11 hours and 30 minutes. While travelling from Mumbai, one has to pass through Nasik, Dhule, Jalgaon, Agola and Amravati to reach Nagpur.
