This simply tells you to think of the reasons you want to lose weight. List them and ensure that you constantly review them. They will act as a guideline and a source of encouragement. It will help you to remain focused on you weight loss plan.

2) Planning

Having a good project without a good plan is useless hence there is need to create a plan on how you intend to lose the weight, what duration your weight loss plan should last and how much weight you intend to lose. There are a lot of changes that will normally take place in your lifestyle when you start on a diet plan. It is important that you ensure that you weight loss plan is in line with your lifestyle.

It would make no sense if you subscribed for a one year gym plan and your schedule cannot fit the time. Some people also give up easily when it comes to the gym. They tend to lose their morale and end up abandoning it completely or only attend irregularly. This in return affects the weight loss plan as it requires consistency.

The gym is not a bad idea but it is better you try a shorter period subscription. Try two months or three months. See how things are working out and if it favors you, then you can buy a one year membership.

3) Execution

Using your plan, keep track of your progress in loosing weight. When you have lost enough and you feel that you have achieved, think of rewarding yourself. You can bury new clothes that fit your new body; this will highly motivate you to remain focused on your weight loss plan. The best reward however would be finding out that you have reached your target weight. Thus it is important to always keep to your plan and be bold enough to stay on the diet plan.
