Sinus Tachycardia Treatment

Sinus tachycardia can happen when sinus rhythm is faster than 100 beats per minutes in adults

. The symptoms of sinus tachycardia include chest pain, dizziness; breathe shortness, severe anxiety and many other problems. People who are suffering from sinus tachycardia can follow a proper sinus tachycardia treatment to get cured of the disease.

What are sinus tachycardia body signals? The indication is dizziness, chest pain, anxiety, shortness of breath is some of the ills of the disease. With exercising, stress, flight, fright and anger the rhythm could increase. These psychological situations could stimulate the sinus rhythms.

The pacemaker of the heart is called sinoatrial node. Normal cardiac stimulus starts from the right atrium (the right upper chamber of the heart) and travels through the atria and down to the ventricles (the lower chambers of the heart). The fast movement of the heartbeat is called Sinus tachycardia. It is due to exercise, excitement, pain, exertion or over secretion of the thyroid hormone.

Normal sinus rhythms are found mostly in healthy heart. Heart runs on electrical impulses that stimulates it chambers (atria and ventricles) to contract and expand. With each heart beat the blood is pumped through out the body. Normal heart beat is between 60 and 100 beats per minute. There is no fixed heart rate; it may vary from a child to adult.

The internal carotid artery originates at the common carotid artery's bifurcation and a localized dilation at this point is what is called the carotid sinus. Its main function is to act as a sampling area through a large number of baroreceptors for homeostatic mechanism to maintain blood pressure. A particular nerve of the sinus called Hering innervates the baroreceptors in the carotid sinus.

The normal sinus rhythm for infants is different than that of an adults. Typically, an infants heartbeat can range from 120 to 160 beats per minute. Again, this is the normal range for infants during a resting point. In pediatrics, the heart rate for children begin to slow around 6 years of age and will gradually decrease with age until adulthood is reached.

The procedure involves rubbing the large part of the arterial wall of common carotid artery, at the point where it divides into its two main branches, in the neck area. Sinus here means an area situated in the blood vessel, that is the bigger than the rest of the vessel, something like a balloon. This is a natural and normal dilatation of this blood vessel, located in the neck just below the angle of the jaw.

Sinus node is a group of some consequential cells that reside in the atrium of your heart. Surprised! Yes, and this atrium is the exact location in your heart where electrical impulses take place or begins. These cells perform different functions. Sinusitis node cells in the right side of the atrium work as pacemaker and at the same time these cells produce proper rhythm in the electrical impulse that causes your heart to pump blood at regular intervals.

The warning sign could be anywhere between dizziness, unconsciousness, confusion and heart malfunctioning due to problem with the sinus node. If you are scared that you have got one, you should know what sick sinus syndrome is. It makes your heart beat faster or slower than the regular beat. At times there is an uncommon gap between the two beats. Even medicines could start one this syndrome.

When a person is suffering with sinus arrhythmia, variations of heartbeats happen. Heartbeats can go from one abnormal pace to another. The heart may beat very slowly one minute, then suddenly pick up the pace, and possibly go into an extended pause mode before attempting to correct the problem.

Atrial fibrillation is an irregular heart rhythm that starts in the upper parts (atria) of the heart causing irregular beating between the atria and the lower parts (ventricles) of the heart. The lower parts may beat fast and without a regular rhythm. Symptoms of atrial fibrillation include dizziness, light-headedness, shortness of breath, chest pain and irregular heart beat.

Leg cramps during exercise might be caused by dehydration. It is important to drink a lot of fluid during exercise. Leg cramps occur when the muscle suddenly and forcefully contracts. The most common muscles to contract in this manner are muscles that cross two joints. Leg cramps during walking might be an indication of heart disease caused by arteries in your leg being clogged up by cholesterol in result of not enough oxygen being delivered to the cells in your leg.
