June 11th -August 7th: Nothing beats listening to live music while walking along the main street of Gatlinburg. Every night from 5-10 PM enjoy the unique music of the mountains that has the locals tapping their feet and humming in tune with the beats. July 3rd: Sure, you've been to your own town's Fourth of July parade, maybe you have even lost interest in it. Get ready to be excited again at the nation's only midnight parade. Drink lots of coffee and be prepared to stay up all night celebrating our nation's Independence Day with the people of Gatlinburg.

July 4th: Don't go to sleep yet! At noon put on your bathing suit and head on down to the Little Pigeon River for the annual River Raft Regatta. A fun, low-key way to spend the day lazing along the River with family, friends and all of the new ones that you will make along the way.

July 16th-24th: Rated one of the most popular events in the Southeast, Gatlinburg Craftsmen's Fair is something that the locals look forward to all year long. Watch the artisans complete their work right in front of your eyes, it doesn't get much more authentic than that! Leave some extra room in your bags to bring something home for everyone on your list.

Steeped in history but with a touch of the modern, Gatlinburg has a few tricks up her sleeve that she is willing to share with her summer travelers each year.

There is something for everyone to enjoy, the key is knowing what events will be happening when you are planning your stay.
