FILM Tron: Legacy 3D

This is the classic story of Hansel and Gretel, two children who venture into the forest, leaving a trail of breadcrumbs behind them, only to be found by an evil witch who lives in a gingerbread house. EVENT Tudor Christmas
This Christmas at the palace that was once home to Henry VIII, they will be celebrating in the Tudor way with a series of traditional workshops and events. Around the palace there will be actors dressed up, whispering rumours about King Henry VIII and his romances with Catherine Howard and Anne of Cleves. Tudor Christmas will explore this tangled love triangle, alongside showing how the Tudors celebrated Christmas, with massive banquets set up, court dancing, and merriment from the Fool. CLASSICAL Christmas Spectacular
Presented by Myleene Klass, this is an evening of festive carols and classical Christmas songs with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra leading the tunes. There will be a light spectacular and indoor fireworks in this rousing event - the last show of the year at the O2. MUSIC The Pogues
Shane McGowan brings his trade-mark shambolic, toothless rock to venues around the UK as part of The Pogues traditional December tour for the final time this year. Since they first began eight years ago, these sell-out seasonal gigs have become synonymous with Christmas. Expect to hear tin whistle, cittern, mandolin and accordion, as well as a rendition of the festive classic 'Fairytale Of New York', which was voted the best Christmas song of all time three years running in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in polls by music channel VH1 UK, despite not achieving Christmas Number One when it was originally released. CLASSICAL Santa's Christmas Cracker
Children's choirs from Southend will join forces and sing carols and Christmas tunes accompanied by the London Concert Orchestra. They will be singing festive classics such as 'Sleigh Ride', 'Jingle Bells', 'Winter Wonderland', and 'White Christmas'. MUSIC G-A-Y New Year's Eve Party
New Year's Eve can't get any gayer than this at the G-A-Y New Year's Eve party at Heaven. G-A-Y has been holding its clubnights at Heaven since 2008 when it moved there from the Astoria. The clubnight is well known for grabbing spots for gay icons to perform and in the past acts such as Lady Gaga, Madonna, Christina Aguilera, and Britney Spears have played at the clubnight. Tonight some X Factor rejects will be bringing in the New Year with Stavros Flatley, Lucie Jones, Ruth Lorenzo (pictured), and Rachel Adedeji all playing sets until the wee hours. But Seasons Greetings remains evergreen - a viciously funny expose of the miseries of an average family Christmas: the cheating at snakes and ladders, the fighting over comic books, bungled infidelities beneath the tree. Dividing audiences around the UK this show from Jim Jefferies shall not leave you disappointed. He's clocked up five Edinburgh fringe sell-out shows, numerous TV appearances and his own HBO comedy special. Never afraid to court controversy, playing up the alluring persona of a hard-drinking rock and roll comic trampling over society's niceties. This is not just a one dimensional performance with flat lined gags and easy punch lines. He perhaps uses hard-edged, uncomplicated foul-mouthed rants to show he is a showman without boundaries. Audiences will then get see what's behind this as he delves into topics such as atheism, his depression, dependence on booze, entertaining the troops in Iraq and losing his virginity.
