Why all the fuss about natural ADHD remedies? Well

, most medical authorities are now agreed that the fact that psychostimulant medications (Vyvanse, Concerta and Adderall XR) are the first and only option for ADHD has resulted in the condition being overdiagnosed and over medicated.

The problems of the side effects and health risks for many kids have become a real issue. We know that the number of prescriptions for psychostimulant drugs have doubled over a period of ten years. I think the most natural one of all is that which takes the whole child, his life and physical health and well being into account. These were previously ignored and the results, as we have seen from the drugs,was not great at all. They had some successes but there are a lot of children who will carry the condition into adulthood with disastrous consequences for themselves, their loves ones and their careers. Not to mention the number of traffic accidents caused by impulsiveness.

It is behavior therapy for ADHD which has made the greatest difference and stood the test of time. It teaches the ADHD child all those skills which can really help him with hyperactivity, inattentiveness and impulsivity because he is learning ways to control all these and live a much happier life.
