This helps to create a useful barrier between the front and rear of the vehicle. Usually a little more difficult to fit, the full height guard will take a little longer to remove when not required. In addition to the full height guard a load space divider may also be able to be used. The load space divider is designed to separate the boot space from front to rear when the full height guard is used. The divider creates two compartments in the rear of the vehicle; one for the dog and one for other items such as luggage, or food, that needs to be kept separate from the dog.
Whilst dog guards can be a little difficult to fit and may have to be fitted and removed on a regular basis, the fitting of a dog guard to your vehicle is a very good way to keep both your dog and yourself safe and secure during your journey. It also means an end to the unexpected wet ear.
