Another well-known certification is DyStar. Dystar works to ensure the dyes and pigments used in organic processing is just that organic. If the childrenswear has been certified by Dystar, it ensures that the product's dye is 100% organic and has not harmed the Earth.
Oko-tek is a further certification body which principally checks for harmful chemicals in products that are purporting to be organic. They check for over 100 chemicals that are harmful to the environment when used in the manufacturing process. Finally, a common stamp we would like to see is whether packaging or buttons etc have been made from 100% recyclable material.
When choosing organic babywear or childrenswear, it is best to try and find clothes that are certified by these bodies or others that work within your area.
