Duracell myGrid Review

The Duracell myGrid charging device are a product you want to like. Think the possibilities, you come home and flip your phone, iPod or other device on the pad and walk away. No cables to plug and disconnect, no longer having several chargers connected the wall outlet. A wireless home power grid, truly the wave of the future.

In fact, while, this are genuinely a product that is far from being prepare for prime time and isn't the "wave of the future" powergrid you'd think it's. A lot of precisely it is an "extension cord" that transfers power via contacts in a totally traditional way.

It sends with 3 tips that fit an infinitesimally small number of phone models. The conception of the power tips prevent them from being used on any other device than the exact model specified.

The DURACELL myGrid gets rid of the demand for multiple chargers and receptacles. It doesn't fit all mobile devices but adapters are available for others. They have the majors covered. I believe this device will prevent a few fires, falls and broken phones from units being left on the floor or hanging when charging. It is a smart device worthy of the DURACELL name

Some of Duracell myGrid Features:

compatible tips for miniUSB pow

* Charge up to 4 devices on one pad.

* Look for additional Duracell myGrid accessories to charge more devices.

* Sleeek and convenient power sleeves also available

* Contains 1 Duracell mygrid charge pad and 1 duracell power clip with device tips

for miniUSB, microUSB and Nokia.

* Includes everything you need to get started

* Look for additional Duracell myGrid accessories to charge more devices

* Works with BlackBerry, Motorola and Nokia

For Iphone 3 users The Duracell myGrid is a great idea. The charging cover/case is solid and does a great job protecting the iPhone 3. And when you need a quick charge you just lay it on the charging pad and it does the rest. No cables to mess with, nothing to turn on. Just works.

My only issue is I wish you could plug in the iPhone sync/charge cable into this case so you can synch the phone. You have to take the charger case off to get to the synch area. That makes it a bit inconvenient.

General it is a great little product, and it gets better if everyone in the house has a phone with this type of case because everyone can just rest their phone down and it gets charged from the one simple charging station, this eliminates countless adapters and cords and makes life a heck of a lot easier.
