Cruise The Iberian Countries In Style
Those who fancy a more interesting holiday than simply visiting one place should consider a cruise
. They are great fun and are worth looking into as they offer a different holiday experience than the usual on offer from travel companies.Iberia is a good area to visit as there are some good deals on package deals there and it does not take a long time getting there. There are a few ports in England where you may set off from and your first destination is likely to be the Portuguese capital of Lisbon (or Lisboa in Portuguese). The Canary Islands are great to visit and you will enjoy your time there.
Back to Portugal you go after the Canaries with a trip to Madeira. Botanic gardens are found atop the hills that are a sight to behold and worth a walk around during your stay. As with the rest of Portugal there are some great food and wine to enjoy, especially the fortified wine. Seafood and a range of meats are enough to wet the appetite of any visitor after a day exploring.
You will also spend a few days cruising along the Atlantic Ocean where there will be some great landscapes for you to enjoy. During your cruising time there will be plenty of activities to do onboard the cruise ship if you want to take a break from the fresh air or the weather turns nasty. The Canary Islands are lucky enough to enjoy great weather all year round so if you fancy a warm Christmas instead of a cold and wet one then a cruise is definitely for you.
Time is running out if you want to get your cruise in for Christmas but a trip aboard one of the fantastic cruise ships for later in the year would make a great present for someone and would give them something to look forward to later on.
