Arizona's Brooks Reed Will Visit NFL Teams
University of Arizona defensive lineman, Brooks Reed will meet three NFL teams in this week. He is considered to be one of the top outside linebacker aspects for the 2011 NFL Draft.
Brook Reed will visit to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday 11th April, 2011, and he will schedule to workout with the Washington Redskins on Tuesday 12th April 2011. He will also attend in order to workout with Indianapolis Colts on Saturday 13th April, 2011. The 24-year-old defensive linebacker, Reed has worked out for the New England Patriots, Jacksonville Jaguars, New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns.
"Brooks Reed 2011 NFL Draft"Reed has recorded 47 tackles, 6 1/2 sacks and 10 tackles for the losses in the last season. In his career, the All Pac 10 conference selection registered 114 career tackles and 17 sacks. At the NFL Scouting Combine, Reed ran the 40 yard dash in 4.65 seconds, bench pressed 225 pounds in 30 times. He also made 30 1/2 inch vertical leap and a 9-5 broad jump and was very impressed at scouting combine.
Reed will work out with the Minnesota Vikings on Friday 15th April, 2011. Green Bay Packers were looking to pick him in the first round conversation and 32nd overall selection in the recent mock drafts. He has been very impressive in his work out with the Green Bay Packers and they are planning to pick him in next month's NFL Draft. Reed has been drawing comparions to Packers star linebacker Clay Matthews, because he is having long blond hair.
Brook Reed is likely to play as an outside linebacker position in the NFL after he has played defensive end during his college career. He played all 13 games for Arizona Wildcat in 2010 season, recording 47 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Reed has become one of the best players for Arizona's strongest position, which include NFL defensive lineman Ricky Elmore and D'Aundre Reed.
Reed has recently visited to the Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills. Arizona defensive linebacker, Brooks Reed is eagerly waiting for the 2011 NFL Draft, which is going to be held on next month. Reed had played well in the last season, which he was improved very much.
