Ann Kelly Affair: Will Springsteen Marriage Suffer?
ACCORDING TO a recent report, music legend Bruce Springsteen may have had a four year affair with a New Jersey housewife
. Though the singer has denied the affair, a report in the New York Post claims that Arthur Kelly, a businessman from New Jersey, who is reportedly divorcing his wife Ann Kelly, has claimed that the affair caused his marriage break-up.While Arthur Kelly has retracted the affair claim from the ongoing divorce proceedings, details of the alleged affair between Bruce Springsteen and Ann Kelly have come out. The two apparently met each other at a gym in Red Bank, New Jersey and evolved into a close relationship soon. The court records that include these details, state that Arthur Kelly believed that Springsteen had once told his wife that she "nicest ass" in the gym.
Ann Kelly apparently discussed politics with the singer/songwriter, who also reportedly gave her two books to read, She had also enlisted her friends to keep tabs on the singer and one such friend even informed her whenever Springsteen's wife was away from home.
The alleged affair came to the knowledge of Arthur Kelly when someone witnessed his wife kissing Springsteen and told him about it. Before this, Ann's father Stephen Carton found out about it and had asked her to snap ties with Bruce Springsteen. Mr Kelly also told the court that his wife had once opted for a dinner date with Springsteen instead of attending his open heart surgery.
Their marriage reportedly broke down when a witness had spotted her kissing the singer in the car park of their gym and told him about it.
Bruce Springsteen, who has been married to wife Scialfa since 1991, has three children. While there have no reports of her reaction to these claims, many fear that the Springsteen marriage may be affected to. This is third affair scandal in recent times, after the Tiger Woods affair and the Jesse James affair.
