How does that help to save money? If you arent living happily and cheerfully with your spouse, you would fight often, which eventually would lead to divorce. The decision depends on you and how your spouse is.
3.Cut your Credit Cards
If you really cant stay without using credit cards, spare one. But cut all your other credit cards. Most of the debt you owe is due to this devilish thing. Make sure you cut it into many small pieces, you might stick it up and start using it again. This is one of the best money saving ideas rather than being a crazy one.
4.Dont buy Lottery Tickets
If you arent buying it, there are many people around you who are. You would probably get millions if it strikes. But chances of winning a lottery are one in thousands. Although the expense of buying it daily may not be huge, it surely adds up. Even if you win it after many years, you would have probably spent more on it than the prize money.
5.Turning Off Your Car At Signals
If you would have to wait for more than 30-40 seconds, turn of your cars ignition. Keeping you car idle every time you stop at spotlights wastes more fuel than turning it off and starting. Your car can actually save a lot of money if you maintain it properly by inflating the tires appropriately, driving at normal speed, repairing it regularly, and so on.
6.Start Using a Piggybank
Or coin boxes, or envelopes, or buckets, or socks, or whatever you are comfortable with. However, make sure you save a small amount ($1, $5, $20) each day. Many people believe using a piggybank is a childish act. Well, it may be, but it save money, doesnt it. And if you do it incessantly, you may be surprised at the amount of money you would save each month.
