Next, talk to you doctor or a nutritionist about getting on a low glycemic index diet. A low glycemic index diet will help you increase your metabolism so that your body will burn more calories, instead of storing them all in your mid section. As a bonus, this type of diet also reduces your risk of heart disease and losing the excess fat can also reduce your risk for breast cancer.
It's easier than you think to find low glycemic index foods that you enjoy and healthy recipes for cooking them. Use this as an opportunity to sample foods that you've never tasted. Think of it as your next adventure!
