Chardham yatra is the most significant journey of Hindus all over the world. They gather to perform this holy pilgrimage every year with the laksha (aim) of achieving the divinity or truth of life and Moksha. The driving force for this wonderful journey is that they believe that once they go for this Char dham pilgrimage journey they will be free of all the sins that they have performed in their lifetime. This was first said by the Hindu reformer called Adi Sankaracharya. He was the first one to say the pilgrimage journey as Chardham Yatra. The yatra takes you to the homes of four Hindu gods called Ganga, Yamuna, Shiva and Vishnu and visiting the divine abodes you will be able to find the truth of life.
