After seven years on the road, or in the air, I should say
, I have become accustomed to falling asleep on a transatlantic flight and waking up in anairport limo cruising down a long and dark foriegn highway. Travelling is as natural to me as breathing, and I have become familular with every part of the process.The range of vehicles is actually quite large, from the BMW 7 series which is common throughout Europe, to the Jaguar which is as common in Asia as the Mercedes E class. I have ridden in nearly every common vehicle that is used today. Not even three days ago I was being escorted to a foreign airport in Porsche Limousine, only to be picked up in Oklahoma City by a Lincoln Navigator. The type of car that a business uses for airport transportation is as regional as cuisine.
For as colorful as the limo service business has become in regards to the massive variety of vehicles that are used around the world, there is one vehicle that has literally dominated the industry in every continent, country and culture.
The Lincoln Town Car was created for the purpose of livery and has flourished in the ground transportation business due in large part to Lincoln's ability to modify the model over the years to fit the growing needs of the thousands of limousine and chauffeur firms that buy this model in bulk.
The seating space in the Town Car is roomie, the overall ability for a passenger to stretch out and get comfortable is easily the most accommodating of all the other vehicles in this class.
Also, the storage space in the trunk of the vehicle is the most spacious in the business and has more than enough room for many pieces of luggage from a couple of different commuters.
