Yudham Sei Tamil Movie Review
Mysskin known for doing different kinda movies is back again with a thriller in his hand. Yudham Sei' praised by Superstar Rajini created more waves when given a feedback of cent percent rating for the movie. The words are true and the movie absolutely deserves it meeting the expectations of the audience.
The story starts with J Krishnamoorthy (Cheran) a CBCID officer, who tends to resigns his job in search of his lost sister. But, on his resignation being refused by his higher official is given a case on serial killing and missing girls for investigation. The story then travels on how Cheran solves the mystery and finds his sister with his team Tamizh(Deepa Shah) and Prakash(Yugendran).
Mysskin's style of narration is laudable which keeps everyone glued to the corner of their seats with biting nails. The best part of the movie is that all the characters are portrayed in a very natural way without any exaggeration. Unlike, other cop stories with punch dialogues and superman stunts; all the actors just reflect as characters in the movie, engaging the audience to closely relate to real life.
Cheran seen always in family dramas has done his part well and excels at his best in every frame as a CBCID officer and a brother. Deepa Shah has very less to do but adds to perfection. Jayaprakash as a forensic pathologist has lived-up to the character, watch out for the emotional scene he dons questioning the audience. The kutthu song featuring Ameer and Neethu Chandra is not so entertaining. Y.Gee Mahendra and Lakshmi Ramakrishnan have done a fabulous job striking everyone's mind. Watch out for the climax scene winning claps for their mind blowing performance, especially Lakshmi Ramakrishnan is at her best. The credit absolutely goes to Mysskin for crafting each and everyone's character to perfection to the demands of the script.
Most of the scenes takes place in night effect and cinematography by Sathya (an associate of P.C.Sriram) is excellent maintaining the mood of a thriller throughout. Editing by Kahin is clean and neat adding to the betterment of screenplay, music by debutant Ke (Krishna Kumar) is extraordinary with perfect scoring on background. Stunts by Action Prakash is gripping, watch out for the stunt sequence where Cheran settles the scores with a dozen men on a bridge. On the whole Yudham Sei' is a perfect thriller by Mysskin and a very good effort by the whole team. After the success of Myna' as last outing under Ags banner, their success list continues with Yudham Sei'.
