Xango Review - How To Get the Best Xango Leads

Xango is a fast growing company based out of Utah. Founded in 2002 by six entrepreneurs, the company has been recognized nationally for its immense growth.

With revenues of about $40 million dollars in 2003, to an explosive $150 million in 2004, the company shows no signs of stopping soon.

There are about 1 million independent reps currently working for Xango, in countries across the globe: Canada, Mexico, Russia, Germany, Portugal, Malaysia, Spain, and others.

The Two Types of Xango Leads

Clearly, there is a lot of competition for Xango leads. With so many reps, and a limited pool of people interested in joining the network marketing industry, it's a good idea for marketers to familiarize themselves with the process of getting leads, and using them effectively.

There are two types of leads: paid and unpaid. Both have their benefits and downfalls. Which type could be best for your business?

The Negatives of Using Paid Leads

Paid leads are just that - leads you pay for. There are a few problems with paid leads, one being that the initial investment may not be worth the reward. The other issue is that paid leads are generated in a variety of ways, and it's hard to tell which paid leads are good, and which aren't good (meaning, some are "warm" and others are just plain "cold").

What you really want are people who have heard of your product, who are interested in owning a home based business, and who are looking forward to talking about opportunities. What you don't want are people who have no idea what network marketing is, and who don't think they ever signed up for such a phone call. This is a huge waste of time for a network marketer.

The Benefits of Unpaid Leads

Unpaid leads are tougher to generate, but they tend to be much more targeted than paid leads. The downside of unpaid leads, unfortunately, is that you have to set up the system yourself. But most anyone can learn to do this with the right tools.

It requires setting up a credible website or blog, leaving comments on others' blogs, joining forums and online communities, and directing people to your site through a streamlined message. If people know what you're doing, and they sign up to hear more about your product, you can be guaranteed that there's a much higher chance of conversion into your downline.

While it may be a bit of a time investment, initially, learning to generate your own leads can be a much more effective method, overall, for building your business and setting yourself up for long term success.
