Velas Resorts has launched a fantastic competition for engaged couples with a grand
prize of an all inclusive wedding at Mexicos luxurious AAA Five Diamond Grand Velas Riviera Maya.Couples who have been dreaming of weddings abroad will have the chance to win this great prize which is worth $25,000 and includes invitations for up to 15 guests.
The winning couple will exchanges vows with a traditional Mayan ceremony at Xel-Ha, one of the most beautiful natural aquariums in the world, and a second symbolic or legal ceremony will take place in the Xcaret eco-archaeological park and will be accompanied by flowers and music.
The prize also includes four days and three nights accommodation in a luxurious oceanfront Ambassador Pool Suite at Grand Velas Rivera Maya, a beachside cocktail hour, a three-course wedding reception, wedding cake, live music, decorations, hair and makeup for the bride, photography by Humberto Castilla, a $250 Diamonds International gift certificate, an Ultrafemme gift certificate, and a Trash the dress photo session by Dream Art.

Couples keen on winning dream destination weddings with Velas Resorts will have until 31st October, 2011 to enter the competition. To enter, couples must submit the story of their marriage proposal along with a photo of their best moment together on the Facebook pages of Velas Weddings, Xcaret and Xel-Ha. Ten finalists will be selected in a random draw on 1st November, 2011 and public voting will take place between 2nd and 19th November on the Velas Weddings Facebook page. The lucky winning couple will be notified on 20th November, 2011.
