Why Cancer In Canines Is On The Rise
Cancer is the leading cause of death in dogs. If parents were to discover that cancer was the leading cause of death in children under 14 years of age they would question the authorities. You'd demand an answer because life is too precious, especially the lives of those you love. And you'd search for ways to prevent this from happening to your loved ones.
You'd start to pick up and purchase those magazines that line the shelves in the supermarket and talk about how to eat right in order cut down the risk of cancer. You'd learn that eating right is scientifically proven to reduce the risk of cancer by over 30%. That's impressive. Perhaps you'd go and buy a better brand of dog food. But that wouldn't be a proven solution. Most dog food is highly processed, heated and compressed, thus destroying all the disease-preventing benefits of raw foods. We hear talk about raw food diets but these diets are talking about raw meat and poultry, not raw vegetables! The raw, unadulterated fruits and veggies are, in fact, the true disease preventing factor.
You see, I've spent almost 30 years with people coming to me for help with their pet's cancer. They arrive with a veritable shopping cart of healthy things they've just purchased at the Health Food Store at great cost. The majority being useless: an exercise in futility. And it broke my heart. "The way these supplements work ", I would explain, "is to prevent cancer." Wonderful dogs and cats that I loved at my first meeting were doomed to an early death. Why was it happening so often?
One in two dogs over two years of age die of cancer. Humans don't suffer these ghastly statistics. My quest began. I wanted to discover why cancer is so very prevalent in pets and, more importantly, find ways to truly lower the incidence of this terrible disease. Today's world has all too many carcinogens and toxins so the opportunity for cancer to rear its ugly head is all too easy.
We all get 'cancer' about once a month and the rogue cells are handled and disposed of. Cancer has to take hold for it to grow and become a disease. The real key to cancer is in prevention and there are ways to prevent it. A very important answer lies in complete, correct supplementation to provide cells with all they need to combat cancer (and any other disease they encounter, for that matter).

While I can't say that dog food causes cancer I can, with assurance, say that it sure doesn't prevent it. With all of the carcinogens present in today's environment we need a to give our pets foodstuffs and supplements that keep them healthy and keep their immune systems in excellent shape. A good balanced and complete supplement that's added to your dog's food will help you with this task.
