While staying at the hotel, there are several things to take note of:
Water: Do not drink tap water for hotels, because it is not drinkable. The electric boiler will be provided for safe-drinking water. If not available, you can ask for boiled water in room service. Bottled water is also available and can be purchased for $ 0.25 to 0.75 U.S. dollars per bottle. Steamed or mineral water is also readily available.
Laundry Service: laundry bags are provided in hotel rooms. Provided for washing clothes in the morning hours are usually returned the next day. However, if you need it immediately, for an additional charge may be incurred. Public washrooms are available on the streets.

Phone cards and long distance calling: Most hotels provide facilities in the IDD (international direct dial), the room itself and the calling card at the post office is located in the hotel. Mobile phones: Both GSM and CDMA networks operate in China, China Mobile and China Unicom, respectively. So you can use a dual-or tri-band mobile phone, or simply use a Cosmote card. However, if you want to cut costs, you can buy a GSM SIM card.
You have two options to choose: Shenzhouxing and Ruyitong, issued by China Mobile and China Unicom, respectively. This is a prepaid connection, so no need to provide any documents. Charge cards, 50 RMB and 100 RMB are available at newsstands, post offices and shops.
Internet access: Some hotels provide Internet access in the rooms, as well as their shopping center. So stay connected is easy. The second option is to visit the Cyber Caf.
Transport: Airways, trains, taxis, buses
Taking your business over China requires enormous travel. There are plenty of options for transportation to get around the country. The airways and trains to taxis and buses, China has everything.

Money Matters
Renminbi (RMB) is the official currency in China. Yuan, also called "kuai" is the basic unit, 10 Jiao Mao or equal to one yuan, while 10 fen equal to one Jiao. Paper currency is available in one, two, five, 10, 20, 50 and 100 yuan notes, while Jiao notes come in the name of one, two and five. The most luxurious, star hotels accept U.S. dollars, British pounds and euros. Tipping can also be done using the above-mentioned currencies. Distinguishing counterfeit money: Identification of fake money can be easy if you know what to look for. Money can be distinguished according to the watermark, color, texture of paper and Braille dots. RMB notes is hard to copy because of their color.
Fake accounts are vague images, watermarks and colors are not very significant. They tend to be quite fuzzy. A good way to test if a bill is counterfeit is to look at it under a black light. Here are a few things to take note of:
1st The $ 100 bill, a full helm, or a model worker (usually present in the old copy) or Maozedong (new copies) is very sharp.
2nd The word "wushu" or "YIBAI" appear in fluorescent colors, although it depends on the sign.

Visa

If you want to work and stay in China, or was designed to work in the country, you must apply for a work visa (Type Z).
