Different parts of the brain play different roles in our thinking process which allow individuals to function physically, intellectually, and emotionally. If any of these components are damaged such as emotions, the ability to function appropriately in different areas may or may not be apparent. Mrs. Rashad is very interested and aware that mental health is considered the launch pad of thinking, communication skills, learning, and emotional growth. She is emotionally mature and has a natural tendency to encourage and nurture others who may be struggling which was not always the case. She continues to work enthusiastic to increase knowledge with hands on experience regarding mild to chronic illnesses in regards to mental illness such as Depression, Bipolar disorder, Panic disorder, Autism, Aspersers, Schizophrenia, and etc. researching that fine line and studying the different components to mental illness such as hereditary, stress, environment and etc.Vivian Discusses Neurological Disorders in Children


"VIEW" is an instrument aimed at providing a video image of success for the student or patient. It is believed this instrument to be an excellent medium to facilitate communication and other skills to students with disabilities that are intrusive upon learning. "View", is an assimilation of stimulus deemed toward appropriate behavior.

As students move through the phases of the school system, social awareness, and practices appear apparent, but for many students, that element of development seems stagnant. The teaching of social skills is imperative for all children as it sets the stage for other skills which are needed to survive successfully in this society. Our society has set a standard for social skills which moles a person into society. The teaching process starts at home and another huge part of that teaching begins at school., however, many of our young children have patterns of inappropriate behavior in the school environment that are missed, and others are receiving inappropriate services.

"VIEW" is another theory that might assist individuals in comprehending, internalizing and generalizing the skills needed to promote practical knowledge within social protocol of society. Vivian Gaines-Rashad is fully aware that her role in the vast mental health field is insignificant, but feels strongly that she can make a huge contribution if given the opportunity. Improving the quality of life for individuals with mental disorders continues to be a goal which would enhance her development as she grows with any organization.
