In addition, fear in girls is more than boys and this will vary according to ones imagination and the more the imaginative the one is the more fearful one may be.

There are healthy fears to some non healthy ones like fearing from fire is a healthy sign while other unhealthy fears are not good as they develop into serious consequences in adulthood and good examples of these fear would be of harmless things such as fearing from stairs, darkness, water, wind and gathering of people.

The following will help you understand in more detail:

2.Story telling which is norm, but telling evil stories with weird characters enhance the fear and imagination factor in a child.

3.Do not raise your child in isolation and keeping him quite and away from people.

4.Your child is an imitator which will pick what you will do so set a good example.

The following will help you to understand what parents shall do:

1.Train and tell your child to believe in Allah our Lord which is always there to help us when we need him and turn to him and ask for help in case of fear and anxiety.

2.Make him a strong believer than a week one and do not scare him with ghosts, animals and characters as our Beloved Prophet (SAWS) said "The strong believer is better and is more loved by Allah than the weak believer."

3.To make him more mature and understanding give your child some responsibilities and let him work to resolve those while he shall mix and know about others.

4.Instead of made up stories with no moral aspects tell your child true stories of pious-predecessors.

In fact, train your child like a little soldier of Islam making him understand the social and moral aspects while he grows and nourishing his aspirations in the light of Islam and Quran will help you to make him/her the best of it.
