The Baby Carrier In A Child's Development

The Baby Carrier In A Child's Development

Parenthood is a new, exciting and sometimes scary prospect

. Surely, you want to give the best that could help your child grow up to be the best person that he can be. The journey of a baby from being a defenseless infant toward a talking and walking toddler is such an exciting one for the baby and the parents to experience. Consequently, the baby's development should be treasured because every first step and every first word happens just only once...

There is a common pattern in a child's progress and any delay or malfunction is noteworthy. Although some may not be a cause for concern, it will still serve you best if you consult your doctor about any problems.

Fortunately for parents the world over, the baby carrier has advanced enough to cater to the needs of a baby at the most crucial stages of their lives. In the first few weeks, the baby expresses his emotions by crying. He does this when he is hungry, tired, wet or ill. And since parents want only what is best for their babies, they look for a baby carrier that can make their babies feel comfortable all the time. After all, we know how much of a struggle it is for both the parents and the babies if the baby is carried in a sling.

On his 3rd month, he can already hold an object placed on his hand, turn his head to follow a sound, and even coo and laugh. By his 6th month, he rolls over, sits with his arms as support, and holds his bottle when feeding. During this time, many parents use a stroller because it has proven to be beneficial to babies who are still very fragile. Some parents also use a body or hip baby carrier for these things, while some do not use the backpack carrier during the early months because of a fear of compression to the body of the baby.

Finally, a baby 10 months and up usually can already crawl, clap and wave "hello" and say simple words like "Ma-ma, Da-da". During this stage, a baby can be situated in a backpack carrier as he has a stronger body, as long as the carrier still offers the proper support needed. Some parents prefer the front-facing baby carrier because it allows the baby to enjoy the scenery around him.
