The first basic is that you must believe you can and will succeed. You will never make excuses, you will profit by turning your occasional failure into success by making sure you know how not to repeat it. You will dream your dream and live it.
One of the temptations in this online world is to expect it to be quick, easy and basically effortless. We all see a lot of marketing about how much money can be made each day/week/month/year etc. However, rarely, if ever, does this kind of marketing include the blood, sweat and tears required to get there.
We all know and consciously recognize that there is no magic formula. It will not happen overnight. It will take hard work, long hours, intense concentration and a constant belief in yourself and your ability to realize a dream.
If there were an easy way the world would be overpopulated with million/billionaires. But, we know it is not so. You have to believe that if you really have the motivation you have the ability to join the elite corps of successful internet marketers.
It is necessary to have a plan and a schedule in order to be able to monitor one's progress. I found that if I truly planned the next day before going to bed each night I slept better and got up with the feeling that today I would get it right and get a lot done.
One real pitfall, of course, is to plan a program that could be accomplished only by a person with superhuman strength and ability. The plans and goals need to be a challenge, but not more than is humanly possible.
To keep a balance between what you can actually do sensibly and well in a day as opposed to what would require three or four additional days is truly an important discipline.
With practice scheduling the next day's activities in a way that will move you forward at a constant pace will become almost second nature and certainly more interesting than having to count sheep in order to get to sleep. It is an art, this planning of one's life, but it can be done.
So, smile, believe in yourself, plan carefully and wisely then roll up your sleeves and get down to it. You know you can do it and do it well.
