It would be easier to start searching while they are in school and you might even want to surprise the children with they get home and have one waiting for them.

You may want to buy a new one online from a certain store that you may be able to get a discount on online. You would feel a lot more certain that it is in better condition if you buy one that is brand new.
Even though you may have one you want to make sure that it is one you are able to afford. It is not a necessity and feeding your family and making sure they have everything they need as well as making sure all of your bills are paid so you are not out on the streets is more important than anything.
