Umina Beach

Ocean Beach Road, Umina

Saltwater Creek Reserve

The Entrance Road, Long Jetty

This park offers an awesome playground for toddlers as well as older children. There is a scooter/bike/skateboard track which takes you along the lake foreshore. BBQs and tables are also located nearby as is plenty of grassy areas for children to play on.

Memorial Park

The Entrance Road, The Entrance

Located in the heart of the Entrance, Memorial Park has 2 great playgrounds as well as a miniature water playground.

Children can play on the grassy areas or enjoy a game of outdoor chess. Watch pelicans being fed and enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner at one of the many great cafes and restaurants. On the weekend, you will also find markets and during school holidays various rides and kids activities such as face painting and plaster painting.

Avoca Beach

Ficus Avenue, Avoca

Patrolled surf beach which stretches along residential coastline from the Entrance to MacMasters Beach. Suitable for swimming, surfing and fishing. Plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops as well as an enclosed playground and showers & toilets. Growers Martkets are held every 1st Sunday of the month and Avoca Beaside markets every 4th Saturday.

Australian Reptile Park

Pacific Highway, Somersby

Home to koalas, kangaroos, crocodiles, wombats, turtles, snakes, birds, reptiles, spiders and many other animals, this park is very interactive and offers families great hands on animal experiences. Entertaining and educational talks are presented several times each day. The reptile park has a caf/kiosk, amenities as well as BBQs and tables/benches.

Terrigal Beach

Terrigal Esplanade, Terrigal

Beautiful seaside town with relaxed feel and plenty of ritzy cafes and restaurants as well as shops. The beach is patrolled and has a small rockpool, which is ideal for young children. You can also fish off the rocks. Along the beach is a promenade, where children can ride their scooters and skateboards and you will also find toilets, showers and change rooms.

Copacabana Beach

Del Monte Place, Copacabana

Not far from the popular Avoca Beach, Copacabana Beach has a viewing platform from which you can often see humpback whales as they migrate to warmer waters of the Central Coast. The beach is patrolled and the Surf Life Saving club offers beach goers a kiosk/caf with outdoor seating. Across the road you will find more cafes/restaurants and shops as well as a small playground and a skatepark

Picnic Point Reserve

Picturesque lakeside location, with plenty of picnic areas, a small playground and an awesome skatepark. You will often

see pelicans coming close to the shore to be fed by fishermen who bring in their daily catch. The reserve has BBQs, tables as well as toilets. The reserve is a short walk from Memorial Park, which has plenty of cafes/restaurants.
