The Truth About Omega 3 Reviews Can You Trust Them

?

There are many omega 3 reviews around today, as people become more aware of their immense benefits. The problem is the information given varies wildly and much of it is out of date. Discover how to extract the right facts and how to get the best oils.

One of the main problems I have found with fish oil reviews is that many times it is the manufacturer who is writing them! It is not possible for them to be unbiased and they often make wild claims and exaggerate a lot.

There is also a lot of out of date and misinformation in these omega 3 reviews too, let me explain.

There are two main omega 3 fatty acids known as DHA and EPA. Now most fish oil supplements have lots of EPA and very little DHA. The majority of reviews tell you about the benefits of EPA and how it is so important.

The cold hard truth is that all the recent research has shown that the DHA fats actually provide most of the health benefits. Only these fats are converted into a powerful anti-inflammatory substance in the body and only these fats are found in abundance in your brain and even in your eyes.

Now the reason they don't want you to know about DHA supplements is because they know they are better but they make more money from selling you on EPA. The EPA fats are cheaper to concentrate and easier to source and the reason why the lazy manufacturers use them.

Other omega 3 reviews I have seen imply that the process of molecular distillation is unnecessary. This is potentially damaging to your health because if you use oils that are not distilled you can unwittingly ingest traces of the toxins like arsenic, dioxins and mercury.

Again it is down to profits as this purifying process that removes all the toxins is time consuming and expensive.

In addition, don't let anybody persuade you that an enteric coating or flavourings are a good idea! These are totally unnecessary and are only used to disguise stale or rancid oils that carry little or no benefits and which result in those fishy burps.

Hopefully you can now pick out the facts from the omega 3 reviews and know how to select the best type of DHA supplements in order to get the maximum health benefits without the associated risks.
