They have a transmitter, receiver, antenna, servos, and batteries plus controls for turning fast or slow. They also have their own frequency. A frequency is a set of radio waves in a certain number or megahertz. Just like a radio station works on its own radio frequency, so does your radio controlled box. Depending on the country you live in frequencies are allocated by different public service authorities. You should become familiar with your local authority and know the rules and regulations. Each control box has a set of crystals that forms the radio signal. The antenna transmits and receives the signal from your rc boats. They work on a channel number assigned to your control box.
