Clickbank is indeed great source for internet marketers to promote there products and for affiliates to promote those products
. People do make a lot of money using only Clickbank and there are many success stories out there from people that have used Clickbank for years, but there is one growing problem that Clickbank has and that is SCAMS.
For those of you who don't know what Clickbank is, let me tell you a little bit about it. Clickbank.com was first launched back in 1999, and from that day to this, it has developed into the largest repository of digital information products on the net, with over 10,000 products registered at any one time. The basic model of Clickbank is that each and everytime a product is registered, it is available to promote anywhere on the internet through affiliate marketing.
SCAMS is really a growing problem on the internet marketing society including Clickbank itself. Most of the products that are posted on Clickbank are genereally good but only on certain categories. The biggest category that has this problem is the E-Business/E-Marketing category where internet marketers promote there new "how to make money online" products. Most of the products under this category will claim that a certain system has made them a 6 figure income in less than a year and most people do end up buying in to these products. Although these products may sometimes work there will always be a catch to it. What most people don't do before buying these products is read about it and see what other people have to say about a certain product. They get taken to the sale pages with hundreds of proof thrown at there face, next thing they are hitting the buy now button. Once they have the product they realised that the product is not working for them, grab a refund, but do not get a response from the marketer who posted the product about getting a refund. They have just lost over $100 they spent on that product while the internet marketer that posted that product is enjoying life.
I was recently reading reviews about the "Auto Traffic Avalanche System" which is currently dominating the E-Business/E-Marketing category of Clickbank at the moment. The product has made hundreds of sales but does it actually work? After reading this topic in a forum this is what people had to say about it.
"I think the whole sales pitch was BS.
It talks about Automatic Traffic software - with just a few clicks of your mouse.
That's a CROCK!!
That software only creates cloaked pages. That's it.
The traffic part - you have to create FB and POF ads. The course teaches you how to do that.
So, how is that AUTOMATIC traffic??
I purchased, I promply requested a refund.
False advertising if you ask me. I was not a happy camper."

I could tell you all the reviews of this product but that will be wasting time. Most of the reviews about this product were bad and people actually held back from buying it. Some said it even involved Facebook Fraud.
Although Clickbank is trying there best to avoid scams, there is really not a way to avoid it. People will always want to make a quick buck anyway they can with any new idea they may have. So before buying products from Clickbank (epecially in this category), read what other people have to say about it before buying it.
