One of the things that makes the Sprint 3000 worth looking at is its speed. This device is capable of folding and stapling as many as 1,500 booklets per hour. (There are variable speed settings available.) Since this machine works so quickly, it's perfect for businesses and organizations that regularly produce a lot of documents.
The booklets you create with this device can contain up to 100 pages. This machine's feed tray can hold 25 sheets of paper at once. The paper you use can range in size from 5.5" x 8" to 11.5" x 17.5", which will give you some room for creativity.
The Sprint 3000 has two staple heads so your documents will be fastened in two places for a stronger binding. The staple heads can be placed in 4 different spots so you can get the right placement depending on the size of your document.
When all of your booklets have been assembled, they're be stacked on a shelf thanks to an exit conveyor. This feature can be folded away when you're not using the machine.
This device is safe to use because it has a safety access cover. The machine won't operate when the cover is open so this will prevent any injuries from occurring.
There's an optional face trimmer available for the Sprint 3000 which can be a handy thing to have around. (It beats using a manual cutter to trim your booklets.) However, the trimmer is sold separately and it will increase the overall cost of the device.
This is a rather large device that measures 23" (depth) x 46" (width) x 36" (height). However, it comes with casters so you'll be able to move it around if it's getting in the way. (If possible, get some help moving it because it weighs 280 pounds.) Also, this is not a particularly eye-catching device so it would probably be best in print shop-like environments.
The Sprint 3000 is covered by a one-year warranty. Just note that the machine's wearables aren't covered by it.
The main reason to purchase the MBM Sprint 3000 Booklet Maker is its incredible speed. Not very many machines are capable of cranking out 1,500 booklets per hour, so this is definitely the device to use if you need to produce a lot of documents in a hurry. It can handle paper of different sizes and the adjustable stapling heads ensure every document will be bound properly.
