Especially if what you purchased is supposed to be functional and durable, it is just not worth it. Again, information is the key. Find out what exactly they are selling, how theyre selling and if its all good, beat the crowd to it!

Another shopping scam that you might have the misfortune to experience is buying gadgets and appliances with extended but unnecessary warranties. How would this affect the price? Mostly, warranties are part of what you pay for and are a waste if you are originally entitled to them even without the extra cash. For this, it is good to know that while warranties are excellent additions to the product, most gadgets are built durably. Extended warranties are essentially deadweight in your finances.
The same may be said about return fees. Most gadgets and appliances may actually be returned once.
