ACU National was formed 16 years ago through the amalgamation of four Catholic tertiary institutions with experience and traditions going back to the mid-1800s.
The distance between the campuses is bridged by an increasingly sophisticated system of technology. The University has adopted distance learning technology such as Web-CT, world-wide databases and video conferencing. In this way, students have access across the campuses to expertise and resources, including a library collection of more than 460,000 items.
We have courses that are important to society as well as relevant to a variety of careers. We have staff who are keen to assist international students and to make their stay in Australia as rewarding as possible.
We have over 14,000 students, with a high staff-to-student ratio. There are international students from 35 countries, who enjoy the warm and supportive environment.
