Spectrum Housing Group organisations go live with Capita IB Solutions finance system to improve efficiency and streamline processes

Capita IB Solutions, part of the Capita Group and a market leader in providing world-class financial accounting software, eProcurement and bespoke solutions to service-centric organisations, today announced that Spectrum Housing Group has implemented its Integra financial management system, with integrated OCR functionality.

Spectrum Housing Group owns and manages over 17,000 homes, maintains a further 35,000 properties and is a major developer of homes across the South and South West of England through Source Development Partnership.

Two of three main Spectrum Housing Group locations went live on Integra 2nd November 2010 and the third location on the Isle of Wight, went live 1st February 2011.

Integra is being used for key finance functions, including; posting cash, registering and posting invoices, cheque and BACS payments, enquiring, reporting and interfacing with Spectrum Housing Groups other major business systems.

Kathryn Price, Assistant Group Finance Director at Spectrum Housing Group, says, "The first payment run completed on Integra has enabled a significant increase in the use of BACS payment processing and reduced cheque production significantly. This is a positive first step toward greater efficiency."

Kathryn comments, "When looking for a new System we wanted a very good finance solution with the additional functionality to move us to paper-free processes and immediate access to information. Having just gone live, Integra is already delivering real and quantifiable returns across the business and we remain convinced that we made the right decision in going with Integra from Capita IB Solutions."
