Secret Santa Bringing Fun to Your Office This Christmas!

Everyone knows that office life can become tedious and that Christmas is the ideal time to make things fun. If you have a large workforce in your office, the game Secret Santa' is a great way to exchange gifts without breaking the bank. If you're unfamiliar with how the game Secret Santa works, read on

How Many?

The first thing to do in the game of Secret Santa is to establish how many people are involved. Each person must write their name on a strip of paper. All the names of the people involved then need to be placed into a container so that they can be drawn.

The next step is to go around your workforce asking each member of staff to draw a name, making sure that they do not draw their own name. It is important that you make a note of who has drawn each person's name.

Next, you must explain any limitations there may be to the game, i.e. if there is a budget, theme, etc. By doing this, it will ensure that the people involved do not overspend and that everyone receives a present of the same value. You must also request at this point that the name of the recipient is on the gift, not the name of who it is from.

When the day comes for the presents to be handed out, make sure that everyone places their gifts in the same place to prevent people lingering to see who has bought each present. When the time comes, pass out each person's present and allow them to guess the identity of their Secret Santa. At this point you could also hand out small prizes for those who guess correctly.

Another option when playing the game of Secret Santa is to let the people involved go around asking questions until they establish who their Secret Santa is. There are many variations of the game; however, it all depends upon personal preference.

There are also a number of other fun games which can be played between your office staff at Christmas time. Don't forget that decorating your office is a great way to lighten the mood and to fill everyone full of festive spirit.
