In this article I am not really going to give you a recipe. Or, I am, but making a green salad is so simple that there pretty much are no ingredients involved. Actually, I think - through reading this - that you will get more out of this than reading a recipe on green salad.
If you find green salad to not sound that exciting, I completely get you. It does not sound that fun, really, but that is because you -- and I -- rationalize that nothing fun can be added to the salad! We feel like slaves under the boredom of green salad. But, of course, you can add whatever you like to this salad!.
And, actually, green salad does not equal it. There are a lot of green salads! You have the romaine lettuce, you have the iceberg lettuce and you probably have more to choose from (honestly I cannot come up with other variants, but I am sure that they exist).
Have you chosen the greens to use..? Do that, then continue. Take the greens you have chosen, and separate damaged, or broken, green leaves and start breaking the rest (into a size that are a little bigger than a bite-size). Now, wash the greens in a bowl of water. Then dry them on a dish towel.
You really need to make sure that you made the washing and drying, of the leaves, properly as if they are not cool and dry the dressing will take damage.
For dressing, you do not need to do anything fancy (of course you can). Mix some vinegar, oil and salt. That is it. One part vinegar, three parts oil works.
