Recovering Edb File Due To Improper Online Defragmentation In Ms Exchange Server 2003

Cause:
There could be the following reasons for this behavior:
The Server crashed as some transactions failed to commit to the hard disk.
Incorrect logs were copied while you restored the database.
Some database log files were removed that were not fully committed.
Resolution:
You should perform the following methods to resolve the problem:
Restore from backup: You should check if the backup is updated and clean. If yes, then restore the database from its online backup.
Run Eseutil utility: You should use the Eseutil utility to perform either hard repair of the database or for performing offline defragmentation.
Run Isinteg utility: You should run the Isinteg utility to rebuild the information store to fix the errors.
Run Exmerge: And finally, you should run the Exmerge utility to export the data to a newly created database.
