Located in the Sawai Madhopur district of the wonderful state of Rajasthan, the Park attracts tourists from across the world. In fact, it is the most filmed wildlife destination in the world. The Park is a home to around 320 species of birds; both resident and migratory; around 40 species of mammals and 35 reptile species. Venture into the forest and treat your senses to the sights of amazing animals. You might even encounter a tiger. Some of the other enchanting creatures here are leopard, spotted deer, wild boar, jackal and chinkara. There are some water bodies in the park where the chances of sighting wildlife are bright. During the months between November and May, the nature of the dry deciduous forests of the park makes sightings of tiger quite common. Must-see spots of the Park Bakaula: This region has thick foliage and numerous small water bodies which keeps it cool even during summers. It is a promising spot for wildlife sighting. Kachida Valley: Located at the outskirts of the park, this region has several rocky outcrops and low hills. It is famous for its panther population. Lakarda and Anantpura: Tourists visit this region for sighting sloth bears which are found here as this region has many ant hills. Raj Bagh Ruins: The ruins of palace, arches, domes and steps add more charm to the Park. It reflects the glorious history of Ranthambore. Padam Talao: This is the largest lake inside the park. Jogi Mahal is located near it. Ranthambore fort: Located on a hill overlooking the park, this fort is a wonderful attraction to visit.

Rajbagh Talao: It is a beautiful lake with ruins along its edges. Malik Talao: This is the smallest lake inside the park. A variety of colorful birds can be spotted here.About the Author:
