You can also think about bringing medicines, feminine products, hand sanitizer, and other little things that you might need but won't want to pay an arm and a leg for.
Another great tip to remember is to bring extras of what you can. Bring an extra toothbrush or pair of underwear, so you won't have to buy these things from your hotel. Bring an extra change of clothes in case you get into some mud or spill food on your shirt. Don't forget an extra bathing suit! No one wants to put on a wet bathing suit to tour the state. Just remember that there are only certain things you can take with you in a carry-on bag on the plane.

Even if you've already read them and decided what you want to do, bring the manual or brochure along with you, because you might change your mind about what you want to do later.
