Today the pilots of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) fly to various regions such as India, the United States, Canada, South Asia, South East Asia, Persia, the United Kingdom, Ireland and Europe. They also fly to cities within Pakistan. PIA flights are reaching more destinations on a constant basis.
When flying to such far off places such as the United States and Europe, it has become necessary that pilots and cabin crew need to be accommodated in cities of those countries. PIA generally prefers the Roosevelt Hotel in New York City and the Scribs Hotel in Paris which they own.
Pakistan International Airlines is the only airline which is flying nonstop between London and Karachi .PIA flights are also made within Pakistan to Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar.
There are some PIA flights which take tourists to the starting point for a train rise in the Khyber Pass and there are others which fly tourists to places in Northern Pakistan. There are travel companies which charter Pakistan International aircraft and then operate flights which are planned specifically to the requirements of specific groups of travelers.
Cabin crew of Pakistan International Airlines are renowned for their hospitality like host Asian carriers. Food is served in generous portions and especially the non-vegetarian portions are very tasty. Liquor though is not served. Airhostesses are courteous, polite, and efficient and dressed in their national costume which is salwar kameez. Security for flights operating out of and into Pakistan has been considerably tightened for all carriers and Pakistan International Airlines has also benefited from this.
