link watches from the '60s. A subtle patina has formed over the entire watch, the
link sheen of the original brushed finish on the case dulled by time. The dial also has a matte quality that's not present on the P01. My hunch is that it was intentional, part of an effort to reduce glare and lend an anti-reflective quality to the dial rather than a case of patination.

This timepiece takes the form of the Pilot's Watch Automatic
link which is Mark XVIII-esque. For one thing, the regular production Mark watch is 40mm in diameter while this watch is 41mm (like the ceramic Top
link Gun edition). Inside the 100m water resistant case beats the in-house IWC Caliber 32111 with a five-day power reserve concealed behind a soft iron
link inner cage – to protect from magnetic fields – and an IWC signature closed caseback.
